Thanks to the generous community support of this year’s YGT Online Edition, The Yarmouth Music Boosters funded FOUR college scholarships to graduating Yarmouth High School seniors as well scholarships to ALL of the Yarmouth K-12 students who applied for financial assistance to help pay for music camps and lessons this summer! Thanks to all who have supported Yarmouth Music Boosters this year—your contributions are making such an impact!

Who Are The Music Boosters?

We are a small group of parents who value music education in the schools. We look to provide financial and volunteer support for the enrichment activities of our K-12 Music Teachers that are not covered by our town budget. Typical funding requests are field trips, sheet music, concert attire, Jazz Festival support, YPAC sound and light improvements.

Meeting Schedule

We meet the first Monday each month of the school year from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. Our meetings are held in-person, masked, in the chorus room at YHS. Please email yboostersmusic@gmail.com if you would like more information on attending a meeting. All are welcome to join!

Mission Statement

Yarmouth Music Boosters (YMB) is an all-volunteer group comprised of Yarmouth School District parents and community members. YMB supports and promotes music education throughout grades K-12, serving the needs of our student musicians and music faculty. YMB maintains a positive, close, and effective relationship between the music faculty, district administration, and the community. YMB aims to fulfill its mission through the following objectives: Providing music appreciation and performance opportunities for students, Promoting music education opportunities through senior scholarships and summer camp and instructional scholarships, Funding classroom music needs (e.g. music technology, sheet music, and concert attire) that would not otherwise receive support through the school budget, Ensuring music education opportunities for students in financial need, and Encouraging active parent, teacher, and community involvement.
