YGT Online!

Yarmouth's Got TalentYarmouth Music Boosters is thrilled to announce Yarmouth’s Got Talent is moving full steam ahead and we’re preparing for our first Online Edition on March 26, 2021.
We’re excited to see how Yarmouth’s extraordinary students embrace technology to highlight their talents in new, innovative and unexpected ways!

Most of the pieces of YGT that we’ve all come to love will stay in place. A volunteer committee comprised of teachers, Music Boosters, and community members will review the submissions. Local “celebrities”, teachers, and school leaders will introduce the acts during the show. For this special Online Edition of the show there will be no judging, no ticket sales, and no voting on winners and best of all, no limit on how many people can watch the final show!

Start planning now! We hope students will use the holiday break to dream up (and practice) their acts! YGT Submissions can be uploaded anytime between January 4 and February 5, 2021—just fill out the YGT Online entry form to audition. The final show will be available for viewing at the YGT website on March 26th at 7 PM.

Online YGT Rules and Details:
  1. If students in videos are not COVID CDC/Maine DOE Guidelines compliant, their videos will not be considered.
  2. All COVID rules should be followed as outlined in the CDC and Maine DOE Guidelines.
  3. A household’s video can look “normal.”  (Unmasked, not socially distanced.)
  4. If a video submission has someone who is not a member of the household, but a member of the household’s pod or bubble, everyone in the video still needs to follow all COVID guidelines.
  5. Submissions should be no longer than 4 minutes in length. (Note: at YMB discretion, submissions may be shortened for the final show to keep the full show to a reasonable length.)
